Well Sam is two weeks old today and in that time, Melissa and I have noticed that life not only changes on a grand scale but a lot of the little things, habits, behaviors change too.
- Procrastination ends now: If you procrastinated before, having a baby might actually be a good thing for you. You quickly find out that the baby will not follow your schedule, but you will follow his. So no more time for putting things off: when baby says, you do it!
- Working within a 3 hour time frame: Baby is asleep, move you ass and get what you wanted to do done! This ties in closely with the first point, but now you’re required to do a little planning ahead for even the simplest of things like taking a shower, because… well you freakin’ stink after dealing with spit up milk, poop and pee!
- Personal hygiene: That’s right you porkers, time to clean up! You can easily transmit all kinds of critters to your little bundle-o-joy by neglecting to simply wash your hands after preparing food or changing your diaper…or his diaper. You get the point.
- Ambidexterity: You will quickly learn to do most tasks with either hand has you’ll be rocking you’re little angel to sleep with the other. It will be awkward at first, but for crap-sakes you’re an adult, just do it already! Don’t compromise the dormant state of Johnny Jr. because you’ve got a cramp from using the remote control with the wrong hand.
- Patience: Can’t stress the importance of this one enough. You’d better hit a Gandhi like level of tolerance or your nights will seem longer than a leper trying to give you a haircut….(cause he keeps dropping the scissors…get it???)

Well that’s it so far but I am sure this list will grow ever long. Hope you enjoyed it, talk to you all soon!
Hehe, you seem just a little bit busy
Yeah, its incredible, I though I’d have time to do other things, but I find myself rushing to get anything done! There are not enough hours in one day!
