As usual, its been a lazy Sunday, but today, being a big Habs fan, I was a little nervous sitting in front of the TV watching the Pittsburg vs. Philadelphia game on TSN. Why? Well a Philly win means the Montreal Canadiens will clinch the Eastern Conference title… a feat they haven’t done in 19 years!!!
And as of the writing of this post, I am happy to confirm to you that they HAVE INDEED WON THE EASTERN CONFERENCE! Now I know hockey isn’t necessarily everyone’s cup-o-tea. But you know what? Who cares Habs are #1 Baby!!!! 
Just being in this city during the playoffs is a great feeling. Go walk downtown on the day of a playoff game and the feeling of unifying joy is palpable. Think I’m exagerating? Go try it out next Saturday as the Habs will be playing Boston in the first round.
That’s it for today, I’m off to celebrate by eating something unhealthy until I pass out! 
I feel little sorry for my two nephews who are both BIG BIG Maple Leaf fans! Here is one of them, Matthew professing his undying love for the Leafs…poor misguided soul
